Austermann Classic Tweed Colour 3 Charcoal – classic tweed yarn

With Austermann Classic Tweed Colour 3 Charcoal, you get classic tweed yarn made from virgin wool. Charcoal is a deep, dark grey with a striking and elegant effect. The tweed look lightens up the shade and adds more vibrancy to plain knitted surfaces.

Colour effect and combination possibilities

Charcoal goes well with natural, medium grey, red, and Irish green. The shade is therefore a good base for striking men's jumpers, jackets, and timeless accessories, as well as for jumpers, cardigans, vests, scarves, and classic accessories.

The virgin wool blend combines a natural feel with the typical, lively tweed look and is suitable for durable knitted models. The yarn is worked with needles in 3–3.5 mm. The yardage is approx. 175 m / 50 g; approx. 350 g is estimated for a jumper in size 40.
