Austermann Classic Tweed Color 7 Indigo – classic tweed yarn

With Austermann Classic Tweed Color 7 Indigo, you get classic tweed yarn made from virgin wool. Indigo is a deep blue shade with a classic and high-quality appeal. It subtly highlights the irregular tweed structure while remaining versatile for combination.

Color effect and combination possibilities

Indigo harmonizes with natural tones, denim, red, and medium gray. The shade thus forms a good base for elegant tweed sweaters, vests, and classic jackets, as well as for sweaters, cardigans, vests, scarves, and classic accessories.

The virgin wool blend combines a natural feel with the typical, lively tweed look and is suitable for durable knitted garments. The yarn is worked with needles in 3–3.5 mm. The yardage is approx. 175 m / 50 g; approx. 350 g is recommended for a sweater in size 40.
