Austermann Starlight Colour 4 Bleu – fine fluffy yarn

Bleu is a light, soft blue shade with a calm and clear appearance. The slight fluffiness supports the soft, almost cloudy effect. Austermann Starlight Colour 4 Bleu combines this colour effect with the properties of a fine fluffy yarn.

Yarn character and knitting ideas

The blend of alpaca, merino wool and polyamide creates a fine fluff and allows for light knitwear with a soft, airy surface. This variant is particularly suitable for light sweaters, delicate scarves and airy shawls. Bleu harmonises with eggshell, dark blue, grey and desert rose.

The yarn has a run length of approx. 170 m / 25 g and is processed with needles of size 3–3.5 mm. As a guideline for material requirements, approx. 125 g are needed for a sweater. Other possible projects include feather-light sweaters, cardigans, shawls, scarves and delicate layering models.
