Austermann Starlight Colour 5 Dark Blue – fine fluffy yarn
Austermann Starlight in Colour 5 Dark Blue is a light fluffy yarn with alpaca and merino. Dark blue appears classic, deep and versatile. In combination with the fluffy yarn structure, it creates an elegant look that is less stark than black.
Dark blue can be combined with blue, eggshell, grey and garnet. This makes the shade particularly suitable for timeless cardigans, sweaters and elegant scarves, and can be used both alone and in multi-coloured projects.
Material and processing
The blend of alpaca, merino wool and polyamide forms a fine fluff and allows for light knitted pieces with a soft, airy surface. The yardage per ball is approx. 170 m / 25 g; knitting needles of 3–3.5 mm are recommended. For planning, you can expect approx. 125 g for a sweater.
